Whether you are a student who needs help, a teacher looking to develop your skills or a parent looking to help your student… It’s time to Kick Some Class! Our mission is to create content that inspires learners of all ages with engaging science phenomena, innovative technology tutorials, and effective teaching methods while provoking excellence of character that acts courageously to serve and encourage others.

On this blog you’ll find the videos I post to youtube as well as tips, tricks, tutorials and inspirational material that helps me fulfill my mission. The videos are aimed at anyone who wants to challenge their thinking, skills and practice as a lifelong learner. We are glad you’re here.

I love quotes! I think the power of reflection is so underrated in education, not in belief but in practice. Teachers know and believe education to be powerful in the lives of their students BUT do they actually take time to educate themselves on the latest trends and technology? I hope that’s why you’re here. I started Bald Guy Sci on YouTube years ago to help my students but quickly realized during the COVID-19 pandemic of early 2020 that my colleagues needed help as well.

I have always loved shiny things, luckily I am not a fish, but technology tools are interesting to me. This curiosity has driven me to constantly explore the. new, unique and exciting world of edtech and champion the cause in the trenches. If you have taken any time to reflect on your educational practices, lessons and classroom culture recently you probably felt a tad challenged or even depressed. Kids are struggling with social distancing, technology and online learning just as we are with the other end of the conduit. To get an idea on some of the statistics surrounding virtual learning during the early pandemic, check out this video.

Once you have decided that something needs to change, the next question is what? Technology is everywhere and sometimes that can be overwhelming. Which tools are going to be useful, how easy is it to learn them, how do I teach them to kids… on and on. You are the reason, I am moving into teacher and student tech tutorials. Time is a hot commodity these days and I want to help you get going. fast with tutorials, ideas and inspiration. This blog is designed to house all of the resources I have put out so far, I hope they help you Kick Some Class this year! Enjoy.
